Returns and cancellations
GB Textiles fabrics are sold by the metre and cut to the length you request. For this reason the way a return works depends on whether the fabric has been cut and whether there is a defect. Below you will find what applies in each case.
Fabrics cut to the length of the order
Fabrics cut to the length you requested are not returned or replaced, unless they have a defect or a different product from the one you ordered was sent. We recommend that you request a sample before ordering and calculate carefully the metres you need.
Defective or wrong products
If the fabric has a manufacturing defect, or if you received a different product, length or colour from what you ordered, let us know within 14 days of receipt. Send us an email at info@gbtextiles.gr with the order number and photographs, and make sure the fabric has not been sewn or cut any further. After checking, we replace it or refund the price. The shipping costs for correcting the error are borne by the company.
Small differences in shade between different dye lots, or between the screen and the actual colour, are not considered a defect. For projects that need a uniform shade, order the whole quantity together.
Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you buy as a consumer, that is, as a natural person outside any professional activity, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason within 14 calendar days of receipt, in accordance with Greek consumer protection law. This right applies to products that have not been customised to your personal needs. It does not apply to fabrics that have been cut specially to the length you requested.
To exercise the right, notify us in writing at info@gbtextiles.gr within the deadline. The product must be intact, unused and in its original packaging. The return costs are borne by the consumer.
Businesses and professionals
Sales to businesses and professionals are not covered by the consumers' right of withdrawal. A return or replacement is made in the case of a defect or an error in the order, as described above, or by special agreement with the sales department.
How to return
1. Send an email to info@gbtextiles.gr with the order number and the reason for the return.
2. We will reply with shipping instructions.
3. Pack the product carefully and send it to AFOI GIANNOPOULOI S.A., 2 Averof St, Egaleo 12244, or bring it from Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:00.
Refund
Once we receive and check the product, we refund the amount within 14 days, in the way you paid. For payments by bank transfer or cash on delivery, we will ask you for the account (IBAN) to which the refund will be made.
Order cancellation
You can cancel an order before it is cut and shipped by contacting the sales department immediately on 210 531 9952 or at sales@gbtextiles.gr. If the order has already been cut or shipped, the terms above apply.
